Cancellation Policy

Asbjorg Dunker offers a bespoke and confidential styling service. Whether you need a wardrobe clear out or a complete style makeover, Asbjorg can tailor her services and expertise to suit your needs. Many clients develop an on-going relationship with Asbjorg, meeting in Spring and Autumn for seasonal updates and ad hoc whenever a style crisis arises. Whether you’re a WI group or a hen party, if you’re planning a social event for a group of friends, why not book a group ‘Style Session’ which can be a formal or informal event held at any time of the day or in the evening? This is a great way of learning about and exploring different elements of style in a fun and interactive way. Asbjorg also offers a portfolio of corporate services, in the UK and abroad. These include working as an in-house stylist, lectures on style and the dynamic of dressing and social events which are great for client parties or as a special reward for your staff. A social event could include selective shopping and personal makeovers followed by a photography session in one of London’s boutique hotels. For most clients, the best place to start is with an initial consultation.
		Initial Consultation – 1½ hours - £65 An introductory meeting where we take time to learn about you and what you want to achieve using a simple questionnaire and fun style boards to get the conversation going. We will quickly analyse your wardrobe and detect gaps, giving you some fresh ideas and personal style principles to start you thinking differently.
		Wardrobe Makeover - Seasonal Wardrobe - c. 4 hours - £250 - Full Wardrobe (including evening wear and accessories) - £400 Your wardrobe will transform from an over-stuffed piece of furniture that offers nothing exciting to wear, into a wonderfully organised and uncluttered space full of new and exciting combinations you never knew you had. By going through your wardrobe, we will put together a selection of clothing using your personal style principles, considering colour, proportion and fit. We will identify key pieces that reflect your true style and give old clothes a new life with fresh ideas on how to wear them. You will have a great base from which you can continue to build your new wardrobe. We will leave you with suggestions on what to buy next and where to buy it.
		Style Makeover - Step 1 – Style consultation with written feedback – 3 hours - £100 - Step 2 – Shopping selection and preparation – 3 hours - £150 - Step 3 – Personal shopping - £50 per hour plus travel expenses If you want a completely new look, our style makeover can be an inspiring and confidence boosting experience. Following a style consultation at your home, we will arrange a day to go out into stores where we will work together to create detailed personal style principles for your new look. By working directly with a variety of clothing and styles, we will show you what suits your body and your personality, helping to create the new image you’re after before your very eyes. To ensure we achieve the results you want on the day, we always spend time in advance selecting and preparing outfits for you to try on. This means that by the time you arrive at the stores, most of the hard work is done and the fun can begin!
		Personal Shopping – £50 per hour plus travel expenses To us, shopping is about challenging your ideas about what you can and can’t wear. We can help you discover new styles and items that would usually skip your eyes so you come away with new outfits and / or key items that make a real impact on your existing wardrobe. On the day, we ensure we only take you to stores that have the clothes and collections for you, to suit your person, your purse and your purpose!
		Seasonal Update – 3 hours - £150 When it’s time to pack the last season away, make sure you feel fresh and on top of the new season’s styles. We will sort through your existing clothes and help you plan a few new acquisitions to see you through the season and its forthcoming events. Whether these are fun fashion items, killer classics or cheap and cheerful ‘refreshing’ basics we can suggest what you need and where to find it. We will pack away last season’s clothes so they are fresh and ready for next year. We will even provide purpose-made storage boxes for a small additional cost.
		Holiday Wardrobe – According to your requirements When you go on holiday, do you ever end up with a bulging suitcase and still have nothing to wear? Now you can start relaxing before you go away! We help you choose the outfits you need to look sleek and chic throughout your entire holiday, creating a versatile ‘capsule’ wardrobe that will take you comfortably yet stylishly through all your holiday activities. We’ll even do the packing as well – pure luxury.
		Special Occasions – £50 per hour Whatever the occasion, we can help you create a uniquely stunning look so you can step out in style. No expensive mistakes allowed, we can often build from items you already have in your wardrobe…sometimes all it takes is a pair of new shoes or a necklace.
		Wedding Service – According to your requirements Choosing the right wedding dress can be a stressful experience, after all, there is just so much choice…where are you supposed to start? This service makes finding, fitting and buying your wedding dress the fairytale experience it’s meant to be. We can help you find inspiration, develop your ideas and source potential designers and dresses. We can also supervise fitting and delivery to eliminate all potential stress. Before the shopping day we will visit all potential stores and select a range of dresses for you to try on. This means that on the day you will only spend time browsing the bridal boutiques that are suited to you, your figure and the theme of your wedding. 		Style Stop-overs (for clients from abroad) - Initial consultation by phone and email - £65 - Personal shopping – £250 (including 2 hours selection and 2 hours shopping) - Additional shopping hours - £50 per hour ‘Let me take you by the hand and lead you through the streets of London…’ An increasing number of clients from abroad find themselves in London with little time to spare and no idea where to start. Let us help you make the most of your valuable shopping time by guiding you through the city’s hottest boutiques. We will talk to you in advance and send you a short questionnaire to help us get an idea of what you want to achieve on your trip. We will then create a ‘style profile’ which we will email to you for agreement before your arrival in London. On shopping day, we will prepare and select stores, designers and boutiques in advance to suit your personal style objectives ensuring that you leave London with a suitcase brimming full of fabulous clothing. You are sure to be the envy of your friends with unique items that won’t be seen anywhere else at home!
		Alterations – According to your requirements We like to breathe new life into old clothes and sometimes a few subtle changes can make all the difference. We are very pleased to be able to offer a bespoke tailoring and alterations service. With a few tweaks here and there we can create new items out of your existing wardrobe. We can even turn loved items, which are beyond wearing, into new accessories like bags and belts. Accessories can complete a look. We offer a jewellery alteration and repair service so you can make the most of your existing collection. If you’re looking for something very special our jewellery designer will commission individual work to complement your new look.
		Make-Up – According to your requirements Our make-up consultations teach you how to create a fresh day face and an irresistible evening look which will leave you feeling totally gorgeous. Make-up is fun and once you’ve got the basics right we will teach you to use a new range of colours to emphasise your best features and complete any look. We also offer a range of make-up services to suit all needs and occasions. Our make-up artists are always on hand to help you get ready for special occasions from social calendar events to parties and weddings. Cancellation Policy We know that life can be hectic, so we are always happy to reschedule to accommodate an ever-changing diary! Please note however, that cancellations that occur within 24 hours of your appointment will be charged at 50% of your consultation fee. For Personal Shopping, the minimum cancellation fee is £100.
